A few days ago CCP announced that there going to start on the changes to the skill requirements for some ship classes.
Currently the skill requirements of a Battleship is:
Racial Frigates lvl 4 > Racial Cruisers lvl 4 > Racial Battleship lvl 1
This is going to change to:
Racial Frigates lvl 4 > Racial Destroyer lvl 4 > Racial Cruisers lvl 4 > Racial Battlecruiser lvl 4 > Racial Battleship lvl 1
Now that does mean a few things.
To prevent confusion (or to create some more) i will explain a few things as told by CCP Dev's in some dev blogs and/or forum posts.
: The blog says if I could fly it before, I can after the patch, but it also says that the skill requirements for racial Cruisers are being changed to racial destroyers.
If you went straight from frigates to cruisers without even injecting the Destroyers skill, so what will happen?
Will I really be able to fly the cruisers still?
: Flying a cruisers does not and will not require the Frigate/Destroyers skill.
(Training the cruiser skill, not flying the ship requires the lower rank skills.)
If you can fly the ship now you will be able to fly the ship after the change.
After the change, training a cruiser skill will require you to have the racial destroyers skill.
If you already have the cruisers skill, you can continue to use it to fly cruisers regardless of your destroyer skill level.
You will to continue training cruisers until you get the racial destoyer skill to level 4.
: If i recently started training a second race of ships. In terms of cruisers, does this mean I will get racial skills for both racial cruisers I have skills for?
Currently battlecruisers have no skill requirement other than Spaceship Command 4, and the dev blog does not mention changing this.
Does this mean I will get racial BC skills for ALL races at level 3, which is my current Battlecruisers skill level?
: You will get the destroyer skills for each race that you have Frigates 3, and you will get the battlecruisers skill for each race that you have cruiser level 3. The level of the destroyer/battleship skills will depend on your current destroyer/battleship skill. The racial frigate/cruiser skills are simply checked to see if they are at level 3 or higher.

What does this all mean? .. what is the best thing to do to prevent the need for training extra racial destroyers and racial battlecruisers??
Just train all the cruiser skills to level 3 or better and train Destroyers and Battlecruisers to level 5 and you automatically get the new racial destroyer and racial Battlecruiser skills at level 5.
Tiericide as this CCP plan is called by players is NOT comming on the december 4th patch.
It is scheduled to be release early 2013.
If this means january 2013 or april/may etc .. i dont know.
: Start training Destroyers lvl 5 and all 4 racial frigates to lvl 3 ... and Battlecruiser lvl 5 and all 4 racial cruisers 4.
Altho you may or may not want/need the other races skilled .. training this now will prevent ALOT of training later on.

Если честно я не понимаю страданий, ну будет потеря полтора два дня кача на прокачке всех 4-х расовых фригатах в 4 и крузах в 3.Не думаю что это дико смертельная потеря.
ЗЫ, Сам качаю триагу в 5 с ремапом персепшен/виллповер теряю 9 дней и ничего жив

не говорю о тир3 БК ибо там не требуется для непосредственно вождения БК в 5... а вот дикторы или команды - для последних вместо 20 дней получим 80...

All missile skills, rigs and implants will now affect all subcapital missiles across the board. (Все скилы, импланты и риги на ракеты будут влиять на все ракеты вообще. (Похоже, имеются в виду и "Missiles" и "Rockets/Torps".) Это интересно...)

Мне тут вот стукнуло в голову... В http://forum.eve-ru.com/index.php?showtopic=97682&st=0 пишут, что для БК достаточно круз-3. Но по вновь вводимой линейке порядок прокачки идёт "круз-4 -> БК". Не означает ли это, что если у меня будут расовые крузы-3 на момент патча, то БК всех рас уже не светит, а только тех, у которых крузы прокачаны в 4 до патча?

Все, что умел водить до патча, сможешь и после, другое дело, что сейчас выкаченый в перфект один скил бк + скилы на крузы всех рас, после патча дадут все бк в перфект. Такая же ситуация с дестроерами.

Если у тебя есть скилл БК сейчас, он у тебя будет после патча, никуда не денется.
Для использования БК скила К будет УЖЕ НЕ НУЖНО, 99,99%. Так что какого там левела у тебя К, никого покачивать не будет.
