Игру скачал из локалки ставил англ и русскую версию, ставил DX9, ставил последний детонатор и старый, кодеки, все пофиг...не грузится и все.
выглядит все так...игра начинает грузится, экран гаснет, потом возвращается в мастдай, начинает читать диск, читает его и выдается мелкософтовское сообщение об ошибке (заметил что игра прогружает в этот момент dxdiag).
Все, что только не делал, ковырялся в INI,ставил разные драйвера и т.д. ничего не работает. Буду премного благодарен за помощь.
WIN XP Pro no sp Athlon700 392Mb Geforce 2GTS оперы места под своп имеются все нормально.

У меня у друга похожее было игра полностью нелажилась на хард,должно быть 900 метров.

Попробуй поставить игру с диска.
У игрушки системные требования не такие уж и высокие.
Так что на твоем компе должна запускаться без проблем.

Так, проблема решена.
Была она в нимо кодеках, они что-то напортачили в системе и из-за этого не запускались wma, то есть заставки. Итог, переустановил виндовс медиа плеер и потер левые кодеки.
