NIGHT RACES Q: What is it? A: It's some kind of Sirius Races with some differences and time of racing. Q: Who needs it? A: Pilots, who fly at night-time and can't participate Sirius Races. Q: When? A: 2:00 a.m. (GMT+3) every week from Saturday to Sunday. Q: How to participate? A: Make char in format [>>].nickname.[>>] and come to EG Main HQ 24/7 server before start. Q: Why is it going to be interesting for me? A: Every race — new task and new scenario. Q: Start and Finish points location? A: Route will be announced within a few minutes before start. ====== Other information: - arbiter char format: [>EyE<].nickname (server admins can also act as arbiters); - the ship, equipment and certain amount of money will be given to racer before start; - before start arbiter announces the route: start, a few checkpoints and finish; also he might announce some terms of races (e.g. 'You must reach checkpoint #3 on Falcon ship'); - killing of the racers will be allowed or prohibited just before start; - arbiter counts down from 10 to 1 and then types '>>' and pilots start and fly to the first checkpoint; - there are 2 ways of checking at checkpoints: sending trade request to arbiter, who is waiting at checkpoint, and get chat confirmation from him, or, in case if there is no arbiter at checkpoint — send to Arbiter private message when you are in range of 5-10k from the object of checkpoint; - after passing all checkpoints racers fly to finish point — the winner is that player who first send trade request to arbiter at finish (no need to wait for acceptance of trade request); - the prize for first three racers may depend on race difficulty. The prize is usually money award of any char on the server stipulated by the player (except racing char).
