Dear pilots! In order to increase interest to Freelancer in general and in gameplay on EG Main HQ in particular, our server team took decision to start one of these days with carrying out an experiment. During the experiment all existing accounts of pilots will be moved to another folder. In case, if experiment fails, all pilots accounts will be restored.
The crux of the experiment is that every pilot can play almost for any faction, but after having chosen the role he will not be able to change it on current character. Interfactional relations on server will be considerably changed. Together with the starting of roleplay, the new Rules of conduct and a number of technical changes are going to be implemented. Besides, clans, which officially registered on our server, receive a few unique privileges, information of which will be available in new version of Rules. Server team wishes all pilots interesting playing.

- all NPC-weapons have been reinforced;
- NPC-ships loadouts have changed: Champion shields and Paralyser launcher are no longer available to players, removed loadouts, which caused server lags.

Please be advised, that since June 10, 2004 using of Adv. Champion H.F. Shield and/or Paralyser launcher will be prohibited. All pilots possessing them are oblidged to sell mentioned weapon/equipment or waste into space and destroy.
Since June 10 all pilots with Adv. Champion H.F. Shield and/or Paralyser launcher will be auto-banned by IONCROSS.

Here is more detailed description of update in EG Main HQ client-mod version 1.1. from 11.05.2004:
- Armored Transport doesn't have any more: shield, mines, countermeasures;
- all guns of Armored Transport are replaced with turrets of the same level;
- total turret number is restored to its standard - 9 slots;
- Armored Transport has now corrected cockpit(revised 1st person view);
- Heavy transport ships CSV и Armored Transport have now unique icons at dealer shops.
