Mod Title:    Starmap reference guide
Made by:      Jet (jtournier@free.fr)
Revision:     1

History:
========
Rev 0: initial release
Rev 1: some typos, color codes and html formatting corrected.

Mod Description:
================

- This mod just allow you to add the Starmap ref guide to the Edge of Chaos
  in-game encyclopedia.

- The systems are described from the center object going outward (in case of
  a star system the center object is usually a star, in case of planetary system
  the object is the planet).

- An object's orbit is represented by indentation.

- Objects that share the same orbit around a master object are grouped together,
  when going to the next orbit a line is skipped

- Objects are color coded for easy recognition.

- The guide represent map data accessible from the in-flight Starmap only
  (no spoiler you wouldn't find there).

Missing, inaccurate data:
=========================

* Badlands Cluster:
  -----------------

  - The L-point outsystem destinations list in the Badlands Cluster
    should be accurate but I could have missed something.

* Gagarin Cluster:
  ----------------

  - The L-point outsystem destinations lists are guessed (from the map but
    guessed anyway) for the Gagarin Cluster.

  - There could be missing station, if they're orbitting around L-point in
    this cluster.

Data peculiarities:
===================

- There is no Lagrange Point in the Dante system, this is accurate there is no
  KNOWN Lagrange Point displayed on the in-flight map (at least 'til later).

- Some planets do have a second name written between parenthesis. The first name
  is the one in the English version, the second one is the corresponding
  name in the French version.

- In the Formalhaut system orbiting planet Sharma are 2 Training Medicare Orbitals,
  this is NOT an error (there's really two of them there).

INSTALLATION instructions:
==========================

- extract in the game folder
- you should have a "map" folder in the resource\html\encyclopedia folder
  (with a data subfolder), this readme and an index.html file (all at the same place).
  that'it.
- access through the geography link in the encyclopedia index
- enjoy.

DO NOT touch to the resource.zip file, you don't have to touch it, anything in the
resource directory will override corresponding files in the resource.zip

PRINTING warning:
=================

- the different types of objects are colors code for easy recognition when
  browsing through the encyclopedia (mean sometime white is used and you won't
  see it in a normal browser if you use document colors).
  in particular, the white color is used for Planets and the Black color
  is used for formatting purpose. Be sure to select the appropriate printing
  mode (probably something like greyscale).
