Elite Games conference is meant for discussing various matters connected with site topic, and for communication between pilots for any other interesting topics. MAIN RULES FOR ALL CHANNELS Every member of the conference must keep the following rules: 1. It is common in the conference: 1.1 To discuss friendly any topics, that are not prohibited. 1.2 The thread must strictly conform to the topic of the channel, in which it is going to be created. 2. It is prohibited in the conference: 2.1 Discussing any religious and nationalistic matters. 2.2 Repeating topics and messages. 2.3 Private arguing or correspondence, which can be provided through private messaging. 2.4 Discussing moderator's actions. Use private. 2.5 Topics with non-informative titles, e.g. 'Help!'. 2.6 Abuses addressed to other pilots. 2.7 Messages with unprintable expressions (at moderator's will). 2.8 Commercial messages and appeals to increase any ratings, except appeals in different polls to increase ratings of games presented in the site section. 2.9 Reference to EGP and reputation points in the context of their begging or giving. 2.10 Non-informative messages (e.g. containing only smiles) — at moderator's will, depends on the context. 2.11 Overquoting (e.g. citing these rules in full volume followed by one smile). 2.12 Messages written with capital letters. 2.13 Messages containing excessive number of grammar mistakes, except intentionally distorted words. 2.14 Registration of more than one account by one person. 2.15 Using grabber-programs, such as Teleport PRO, Netsonic, etc. A person who used such software gets instant block. It is allowed only page-by-page saving of interesting topics through browser. 2.16 Editing/deleting moderator's comments by user inside his messages. You are considered to automatically agree to these rules, if you send any message to the conference. The conference rules cover also messages written in pilots' profiles and photoalbum. Moderators of separate, not game-devoted channels may issue additional regulations, if they don't contradict main rules. In case of violation any of these rules site administration reserves the right to execute any actions with violator's account up to its erasing without any explanations. REGISTRATION Registration is not required but advisable in case,if you are going to regularly post to the conference. Registered pilots get additional possibilities such as: participation in rating, editing their messages, using E-MAIL functions and much more. At present time, an access to the chat and voting is granted to pilots with at least 20 EGP (about EGP — please see below). Please pay attention, that according to the rules you can register only one account. If you register new account, send nickname and password of your old account for its removal. RATINGS SYSTEM, ELITE GAMES POINTS There is a ratings system on the site, based on so called Elite Games Points (EGP), which enables in most optimal way to bestow to registered pilots different ranks. Every member of the conference has the same rights and responsibility regardless of rank. Pilot's rank is imaged by different graphic 'shoulder-strap' depending on EGP quantity.  — Usually all pilots have blue shoulder-strap. — Pilots registered on site within less than three months have green shoulder-strap. — If a pilot is an author of material, which is part of site's information database (excluding creation channels), he has yellow shoulder-strap. — Pilots who are members of site team have red shoulder-strap. — Moderators.  — Administrators of site. — In case, the pilot is not showing up for five months, he is considered to be lost, his status becomes 'Lost in Space'.Number of Elite Games Points, necessary to get ranks:  — 0 EGP — 10 EGP — 20 EGP — 50 EGP — 100 EGP — 170 EGP — 250 EGP — 330 EGP — 400 EGP — 500 EGP — 600 EGP — 700 EGP — 800 EGP — 900 EGP — 1000 EGP — 1250 EGP — 1500 EGPThere are several ways to earn and lose Elite Games Points. They can be divided into standard and special. Standard ways are provided technically and automatically counted by communication system of Elite Games Points. Special ways are varied in dependence on concrete circumstances, and adding/deducting of EGP is done by people. In standard cases Elite Games Points are added according to the following: -> For the time, spent 'together with Elite Games' (period of time since registration): 30 days +10EGP 90 dats +20EGP 150 days +35EGP 300 days +50EGP -> For activity in the conference: 50 messages +5EGP 100 messages +10EGP 500 messages +20EGP 1000 messages +35EGP 2500 messages +50EGP -> For number of votes from other pilots. No more than one EGP per week from one pilot. You can vote for a message you liked by pressing button near message text. You can also give no more than one vote per week to a certain pilot in case you have more than 20 EGP. If you vote for a message, its author gets one EGP. After collecting certain votes from pilots, you get the following bonuses on replaceable basis:
You can see the number of pilots votes in your profile (to see it, find your message in the conference and click your nickname). EGP given for the time in the conference, for activity in the conference and bonuses for medals are not counted. Only votes from pilots are counted. In standard cases Elite Games Points are deducted: -> For any message deleted by moderator or administrator regardless of reason -1EGP You can delete your messages by yourself without EGP deducted. -> For caution -10 EGP After recieving 5 warnings the violator's profile is blocked automatically. -> For block of profile -50 EGP The following removal of block — at administration's will -> For trying to get Elite Games Points by any non-natural way. VOTING: You can vote against message or pilots by sending to administration a letter with stipulating there pilot's nickname and reason of your voting against him. Deducting of EGP is carried out at administration's will (in a number selected by administration). Also any number of Elite Games Points may be added to or deducted from pilot for his actions. Number of added/deducted EGP in this case is defined by administration depending on nature and scale of pilot's actions. Thus, e.g. EGP might be deducted for conference rules violation or added for the help in creation of the site. In case of outrage upon rules (after cautions), pilot's profile may be blocked. AWARDS To mark deserts of some pilots, there is a awards system in the site. Awards are divided into three categories: standard (blue background), creative (green background) and awards for special deserts in the creation of the site (red background). Besides, every award adds certain bonus to pilot's EGP rating. Below are the list of awards and their short description:
If you think, that somebody among pilots deserves award, but still without it — write to us! ;-) SMILES In your messages you can use special graphic pictures — smiles. Smiles enable to express feelings and emotions. To add a smile to your message you can insert special words, quoted by colons. Every word is corresponding to certain picture. Full list of all smiles can be found on every page of new posting. You can use maximun 8 smiles in one message. HTML AND CODES In your messages you can't use standard HTML-tags, however there are special codes instead of them. To quickly add a code to your message, use buttons near field of message input. You can't change font, using EGO-tags system (EGO-tags hint is located to the left from the field of message input).
